I am a Professor of Political Science at Widener University. This site is dedicated to examining current trends in American government. I focus primarily on federalism, intergovernmental relations and state and local government. However, I share the site with Widener University Political Science students who are welcome to write on any topic of current events in the United States.

This website is named in honor of Daniel J. Elazar’s classic exploration of American federalism: The American Partnership.
